Those of us who live with an inherited, life-threatening arrhythmia are constantly seeking the most up-to-date information on medical research and genetic breakthroughs that could affect our condition. We would like a better understanding of the medicines and devices that could impact our future and learn what we should do to avoid future problems.
The C.A.R.E. Foundation would like you to be our guest for a light lunch and a presentation from an outstanding panel of physicians:
Michael J. Ackerman, M.D., Ph.D., Pediatric Cardiologist and Director of the Long QT Syndrome Clinic at the Mayo Clinic and Director of the Sudden Death Genomics Laboratory and Associate Professor of Medicine, Pediatrics and Molecular Pharmacology at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine, Rochester, MN.
David Burton, M.D., Pediatric Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist and Medical Director of Electrophysiology at Children's Hospital and Clinics, Minneapolis, MN.
Ann Dunnigan, M.D., Pediatric Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist at St. Cloud Hospital, Central Minnesota Heart Center, St. Cloud, MN.
Pierce Vatterott, M.D., Adult Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist at St. Paul Heart Clinic. Medical Director of Cardiac Electrophysiology at HealthEast Hospitals.
We hope you will take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to become better informed, to interact with other families living with the same disorder, and to have your questions answered by our panel of physicians.
Please feel free to invite your doctor, school nurse, family members, local athletic coach, paramedic, or any other interested persons -- just let us know how many guests to expect as space is limited. We look forward to seeing you on October 16th.
R.S.V.P. to the C.A.R.E. Foundation @ (800) 404-9500.
This program is offered at no charge thanks to a Patient Link grant from The Medtronic Foundation.
